Too Much of a Good Thing? Lessons from My Dog

Advice from my son:  He didn't actually say less text, he said "You don't need a wall of text." Sounds like good advice to me. I was also talking to him about how often I should post updates to my blog and he said, "You know what they say about supply and demand."  I think he has a point.  Even though, I am really loving to write this blog, I think too much of a good thing can be too much. So, I will continue to carry my notebook around and jot down ideas as I have them, but I will probably only make three or four posts a week, unless something big happens.  I don't want to run out of ideas!!

Lessons from My Dog

1.  Take naps as often as you can.

    2. "Own" your body, curves and all!

3. Be a good listener!

4.  Be able to take a joke!!

5.  Be affectionate!!

6.  Don't be ashamed that you have a big appetite!

7.  Greet your loved ones at the door!

8.  Don't be ashamed to beg!

9. Know when to keep your mouth shut and be quiet!!
10. Forgive and forget.

11. Be loyal.

13.  Growl if you feel like it!

LAST, BUT, NOT LEAST.............................

 14. Take time to play!!!

Well, I hope this rest of your week goes well!!!  I'm excited about putting my earrings in the Peddlers' Mall at Murray, I'll keep you posted!!

Matthew 9: 13  But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”   This scripture really speaks to me, I would like your thoughts about it!!  Please feel free to leave comments, either anonymously or not!!  Happy Thursday tomorrow!!

xoxo Friends!!

  1. I think however you write your blog is great however you write it! I love the pictures of Cocoa and what you learn...creative!

  2. I love lessons from Patty and Cocoa. Keep up the good work.

  3. The Bible verse speaks to me as follows..if you are blessed enough to be under grace already, get about your business of serving God by teaching His Word and living by example. Do not be concerned with other things, just do it already. Jesus came to save every one, if it were possible. Do not forget the goal is salvation. Too often we lose sight of the plan. Good blog, I prefer text! Lol! A good read is what I enjoy.

  4. Just dont go rummaging through the trash can when you feel that no one is around to see you....not a good thing that cocoa does......but i think popcorn out of the trash can is always acceptable (inside joke mom)
    ; )

Love you, will be home soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Thanks for all of the comments!! Haha, Lucas! I know what inside joke you are talking about & I know you are not talking about me! :0) I miss you too & I'm glad you finally got to read my blog.

  6. Popcorn.....get it any way you can...I'm sure the trash can was clean...or the 3 second rule!!

  7. Haha, three second rule!!! Good one, and it wasn't me!! We all know who it was!
