Personal Day/ Snowstorm # ?????

Personal day/ No makeup! LoL
Monday/Personal Day  My son left and it was spitting a little snow, so I decided to go run a few errands.  I needed to go by UPS, leave some pants at the cleaners, and get a couple of things at Wal-mart.  Everything was fine and the temperature was above freezing and then, during the 30 minutes that I was in Wal-mart, it started sticking.

This is what it looked like when I left for my errands.

If you know much about my neighborhood, you know there is a real steep mountain/hill before you get there.  Cars were lined up at the top of the hill.  I took my time and didn't have any problem.  I could feel my car slipping a little going up the hill into the neighborhood, but I made it.  Whew!!!  Right after I got home, the school bus came through and got stuck.  They were there a couple hours before they got out.

Th roads were still fine at this point.

Here's a video of me taking the dog out.

The snow is up over my feet and ankles in this picture.  It's over an hour later and the snow is still coming down!  It looks like a blizzard out there!

My deck on Monday night.  I tried to buy a new chair cover, but Wal-mart hadn't gotten them in yet.

Super Bowl pictures left over from Sunday night (It looks like I'm there!)

Tuesday:  There was quite a bit of snow left on the roads.  I was concerned about my drive to work and hoping to get a delay.    Well, Ft. C. came through and we had a 2 hour delay.

My son left his car in the cul de sac.

My cul de sac looked kind of bad, but once I got on down the main road it was more clear.

Traffic was backed up going into the Post today.

School playground and no, we didn't play outside today.  It was a fairly easy day today and they are predicting more snow tomorrow!!

The kids arrived at 10:30 and left at 2:15.  Nice!!

We dismiss at 2:15 on Tuesdays.  We have professional development, meetings and other trainings on these days.  Today, was set aside for Wellness.  We had several activities to choose from. Luckily, I had brought my workout wear.  I picked  Zumba in the gym.

Teachers and staff doing Zumba. (I got the Gym teacher to take a video with my camera. I will preview it to see if it is acceptable to post! If you look quickly you might see me.  This video really broke down the steps.)

Here's a preview for my next post.  Very soon, we will all be.......................................................

VALENTINE'S DAY!

How about some music to get you in the mood?  Most women are suckers for good love songs.

Here's a couple songs by a new group that you may not have heard of:

Great love songs are wonderful, but how about a great love story????

Ephesians 5:2
Live lovingly, just as the Messiah also loved us and gave himself for us as an offering and sacrifice, a fragrant aroma to God.

John 15:13
"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus' love and sacrifice for us is the greatest and most perfect love story ever told!!!!!

It's Tuesday night and I'm wondering if we will have Round ???? of snow.  Whether we have snow or not, I hope you have a great rest of the week filled with love and happiness!!

xoxo

It is fun to celebrate love--it's the one thing we all crave and need! Jesus's love story is truly the best!

Have a great rest of the week! I miss the snow--we only got rain. I am thankful for the blue skies today!
