Things I Love

Just in time for Valentine's Day, I am following the example of a teacher blog I was just reading:

<center><a href="http://funkyfirstgradefun

I love to watch movies…………..by myself. (It’s easier to get lost in the movie that way!)

One of the last movies that I've seen.  I read the book first, but they did a great job with the movie!

I love to read books in……..the bathtub! (but, really I like to read everywhere!)

I love to shop for………………workout clothes. (My guilty pleasure!)

(I just got my first Zumba pants.  They are very comfortable!)

I love to collect………………….hmmmmmmm, I’m not sure, books, maybe!

I love to listen to……………..my XM radio. (I like some funny talk radio stations, and I am enjoying pop music right now, but like all kinds of music.)

I love to eat……………………all Asian food (sushi, Thai, Japanese, all of it!)

I love to talk about……..reality TV, my job and my mission work.

(The current "Bachelor", a girl that my son when to high school is on the show this time.  It's Kacie B.)

I love to make earrings!

I love to travel to………………..Ireland, Honduras, the beach, the mountains, well, really everywhere!!

I love to teach……………Everyday Math.  (My answers surprises me!)

Some other things I love………learning Spanish, going on mission trips, Zumba, book club, hiking, camping, reading aloud to students with expression, coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables, traveling to new places, and I actually  enjoy writing this blog!   I actually love Valentine’s Day and I may have another post about it!!

  1. I love sushi and I totally want to Zumba!!

Also my principal was talking about getting us a new math curriculum for next year and I've been pushing for Everyday Math... I don't know if it's going to fly though. :(

    1. Everyday Math is very different and hard, but the kids are really learning and showing great growth!! This is our first year. It will be better when our students are exposed to it in their previous year.

    1. for stopping by. I actually listen to 109 which is Cosmo Radio. If I want to listen to music I listen to 2, and sometimes the Coffee Shop channel. (I can't remember what the number is!
